Our Scope

The Heartland Quality System applies to the products that are supplied by the Warren, Indiana location to customers. Aluminum components are sorted for refurbishing or melt. Purchased material and subcontracted services that directly affect product quality are also included per the requirements of the system.

Heartland Aluminum maintains a system that meets the current requirements of ISO 9001:2000. Clause 7.3 Design and 7.5.1 Service are exceptions from the ISO 9001:2000 requirements. The justification is that Heartland Aluminum does not provide design service or is design responsible and does not perform service work at this time. In the event such need arises, Heartland Aluminum will develop the required processes and documentation to address the requirement.
